Kevin E. Lofton is Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). In this role, Lofton leads a healthcare system operating the full continuum of services from hospitals to home health agencies nationwide. Previously, Lofton served as Chief Executive Officer of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital and Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Lofton has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry and valuable executive leadership skills from senior management and leadership roles in healthcare systems and hospitals.
Lofton is a former Board member of the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, which is dedicated to increasing the diversity of the health professional and scientific workforce and addressing the primary healthcare needs of people of color and underserved populations.
Lofton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Boston University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Georgia State University.
