Kenneth C. Frazier serves as the Executive Chairman of Merck & Co., Inc.
Prior to his current role, Frazier served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Merck & Co., Inc.
Frazier joined Merck in 1992, holding his current roles since 2011. Previously, Frazier was President from 2010 until 2019. In 2007, he was Executive Vice President and President, Global Human Health. In 2006, Frazier was Executive Vice President and General Counsel. He was Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1999 to 2006.
Prior to joining Merck, Frazier was a Partner with Drinker Biddle & Reath. His contributions, especially in the legal, business and humanitarian fields, have been widely recognized.
Frazier is also Co-founder and Co-Chair of OneTen, a coalition of leading organizations committed to upskilling, hiring, and promoting one million Black Americans into family-sustaining jobs.
Frazier holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
