Ken Drinkard is the Senior Vice President and General Auditor of New York Life and oversees the Corporate Audit Department.
Drinkard has over twenty years of Technology and Business Audit, Risk, and Internal Controls related experience. His audit career began at Ernst & Young within the Financial Services Office working on IT and Financial audits.
Over the next thirteen years, Drinkard held positions of increasing responsibility at Ernst & Young, JPMorgan Chase, Marsh & McLennan Companies, and Pfizer. He also served the U.S. Army as a computer programmer/security specialist. In 2016, Drinkard joined New York Life’s Corporate Audit Department as Vice President and Associate General Auditor.
Throughout his career, Drinkard has been active in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives. While at New York Life, he was part of the company’s Social Justice Working Group initiative and worked with various employee resource groups, including serving as the Co-Chair for NYL-VETS representing veterans, and as an executive leader for the Black Organization for Leadership and Development.
Drinkard earned a B.S. degree in Accounting with honors from North Carolina A&T State University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
