Kem Danner is the Global Head of State Street Corporation’s Talent Development, Learning, Employee Relations and Executive Recruiting functions. Additionally, she is the global head of Human Resources for State Street Global Advisors, the asset management division of State Street Corporation.
Kem joined State Street in late 2015 after 18 years at Bank of America where she served in various roles starting as a member of Bank of America’s Management Associate Rotational Program and served in various key business initiative change management roles in the Consumer Banking division.
For most of her career, Kem has served as strategic advisor to senior business leaders in various Senior HR Business Partner, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion roles including working abroad.
Kem has also served in roles leading people related initiatives on several company mergers and acquisitions including the Bank of America Merrill Lynch merger through the 2008 financial crisis and most recently, the acquisition of GE Asset Management by State Street Global Advisors in 2016.
Kem attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Appalachian State University for undergraduate and graduate studies.
