Kamla Alexander is General Counsel for the Americas at dentsu international, a global marketing network of creative, media and customer experience management agencies.
In this role, Alexander manages a dynamic team handling all legal and compliance issues for the region.
Alexander brings a wealth of varied experiences from fifteen years at The Coca-Cola Company. Her strengths include guiding complex, multi-million-dollar transactions and providing legal support on complex entertainment and talent agreements.
In fall 2018, Alexander worked in Toronto on assignment with Coca-Cola Canada on the multi-million-dollar sale of the bottling entity. While at Coca-Cola, Alexander led the US cross-functional team preparing for the California Consumer Privacy Act and handled a variety of global sports negotiations, including the company’s 100+ year sponsorship of the Olympic Games.
Alexander chaired the Coca-Cola Legal Division Diversity Council from 2013-16 and, because of the council’s work, the company was awarded the Daily Report’s 2016 “Legal Department of the Year.”
Alexander was a 2017 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”) Fellow.
Alexander received her B.A. from Emory University, attended Duke University School of Law.
