Kamilah Williams-Kemp is Vice President of the Disability & Long Term Care Product Management department of Northwestern Mutual, and President and CEO of the Northwestern Long Term Care Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary. In this role, she is responsible for the long-term value, overall performance, and technical aspects of underwriting & claims for these two lines of business.
Since joining Northwestern Mutual in 1999 as an underwriter in the Disability Income department, Williams-Kemp has held various leadership roles in New Business, Human Resources and Agencies. In 2010, she spent six months in the Kentucky/Southern Indiana Network Office, where she worked closely with financial representatives and field leadership on projects related to recruiting, operations, sales and marketing, and leadership development. She was appointed an Executive Officer effective February 1, 2015.
Williams-Kemp serves on the Milwaukee Board of Rocketship, a national network of non-profit charter schools focused on eliminating the achievement gap for K-5th grades in underserved neighborhoods.
Williams-Kemp holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Business Administration with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
