Justin Whitmore is Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Chief Sustainability Officer for Tyson Foods. He is part of Tyson Foods’ Enterprise Leadership Team and reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer.

 

In this role, Whitmore oversees the company’s corporate strategy, venture capital, sustainability and continuous improvement teams. Known as a collaborative and energetic problem solver, he works to implement solutions that drive industry-leading impact on all dimensions of sustainability to deliver healthier food, healthier animals, a healthier environment, healthier communities and a healthier workplace.

 

As Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Whitmore leads strategy development, planning and Tyson Foods’ efforts to tap into external sources of disruptive innovation through venture capital investment. He is also responsible for enterprise-wide continuous improvement efforts focused on instituting a disciplined approach to productivity improvement and financial fitness.

 

Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Whitmore was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.

 

Whitmore serves on the Corporate Advisory Board at Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
