Julie Washington is Chief Marketing Officer at Champion Petfoods, makers of the “world’s best pet food”, ORIJEN and ACANA.
In this role, she is responsible for driving consumer demand, building brand awareness and increasing market share in more than 80 countries. She leverages her background in consumer, digital and retail marketing to develop strategies and marketing communication to reach pet lovers around the globe.
Prior to joining Champion, Washington was President of Talbott Teas and Chief Brand Officer for Jamba Juice. In this role, she was responsible for the strategic development and management of Jamba’s marketing and communication programs, the growth and expansion of Jamba’s Consumer Products Division and the leadership of the company’s newest acquisition, Talbott Teas.
Washington is an accomplished Senior Marketing and Sales Executive whose career spans several world-class companies, including Procter & Gamble and the Gillette Company.
Washington serves on the Boards of Women Helping Women and Union Institute & University. She holds a double Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Psychology from Emory University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Washington University.
