Julia M. Brown is the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of Carnival Corporation & Plc (Miami) overseeing strategic sourcing and global supplier relationship management across the company’s nine cruise line brands and >$9Bn expenditure.

 

Brown has served as CPO at Mondelēz International, Kraft Foods and Clorox, where she built a global reputation of being a transformational leader delivering billions of dollars of value.

 

Brown began her career at Procter & Gamble, Canada and has also served in leadership roles at Diageo and Gillette.

 

Brown currently serves on the boards of the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (Miami), Camillus House (Miami) and Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply-CIPS (London). She is Chair of the Hotel, Food and Beverage Council for the Cruise Line Industry Association (CLIA) and has recently joined the American Airlines Corporate Customer Advisory Council.

 

Brown is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and International Women’s Forum. She has been recognized as an inspiring leader and has been listed on the “Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America” by Savoy magazine (2012- 2019), Black Enterprise’s Most Powerful Women in Corporate America (2012, 2016-18) and Ebony magazine.
