Joe Pierce is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of AMB Sports & Entertainment, where he leads all legal affairs for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, PGA TOUR Superstore and the Blank Family of Businesses.
Prior to AMBSE, Joe served as Chief Legal Officer for Hornets Sports & Entertainment. Joe joined the Hornets from Bank of America, where he was SVP & Associate General Counsel for Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs. Prior to that, Joe served as Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for Comcast Sports.
Joe previously served as Associate General Counsel for the Jacksonville Jaguars, after practicing law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he represented emerging growth technology companies.
Joe serves on the Board of Directors of Cullen Frost Bank and the Sports Lawyers Association as well as an Advisory Director for The Crawford Group.
Joe graduated from Georgetown University, where he received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance, captained the track & field team and joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He earned dual Juris Doctor and MBA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Wharton School of Business.
