Jim O. Stuckey is Vice President and General Counsel of Dominion Energy, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company’s law department.
From 1999 through 2001, Stuckey served as the Chief Legal Counsel for the Governor of South Carolina. He was one of four senior advisors on the Governor’s executive team.
Stuckey’s prior experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a publicly traded South Carolina utility that merged with Dominion Energy, serving as the founding shareholder of the South Carolina office of a national labor and employment law firm, and serving as a partner in South Carolina’s largest law firm.
Stuckey has served as Chair of the Board of Directors of South Carolina Legal Services, and as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Professionalism. He now serves on the Board of Directors of the University of South Carolina Development Foundation, and of the South Carolina Educational Television Endowment Foundation.
Stuckey earned his Law degree with honors from Duke University School of Law. He also earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
