Jesse J. Greene, Jr. was Vice President Financial Management and Chief Financial Risk Officer of IBM. Currently, Greene is Executive in Residence at Columbia Business School, and an instructor in Corporate Governance, Risk Management and other areas of interest to MBA and Executive Education level students.


Greene began his career at IBM and held a broad range of positions. Following that, Greene joined Eastman Kodak and served in various roles including Acting CFO and Senior Vice President, Strategy and Information Technology. In 2002, Greene returned to IBM as Vice President and Treasurer. Greene retired in 2010 as Vice President, Financial Management and Chief Financial Risk Officer at IBM.


Greene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York University School of Engineering and Science. Greene also holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
