Jerri DeVard served as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer for Office Depot, Inc. In this role, DeVard led Customer Service, Marketing and Communications. She has company-wide responsibility for improving experiences along the customer journey as Office Depot creates a persistent customer-first mentality across physical and digital channels.
Additionally, DeVard was responsible for leading the strategy for furthering the company’s brand positioning as well as driving the growth and implementation of strategic marketing activities.
Prior to joining Office Depot, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for The ADT Corporation, a global brand that is the nation’s largest security company.
DeVard is the Founder of the Black Executive CMO Alliance (BECA) – an alliance designed to champion diversity in marketing at the corporate leadership level.
DeVard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Spelman College and an MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University.
