Jennifer Hunter is the Senior Vice President, Corporate Citizenship & Chief Sustainability Officer at Altria Client Services.
With over 30 years of experience, she has played various roles since starting as an entry-level sales manager. Throughout, she’s contributed to shaping Altria’s culture of responsibility, creating long-term business value for stakeholders and society. Jennifer’s work is pivotal in shaping Altria’s vision to lead the transition of adult smokers to a smoke-free future.
Jennifer spearheads enterprise strategies for ESG, corporate communications, community impact, and inclusion, diversity, and equity.
Jennifer’s passion for people is the cornerstone of her professional legacy. Her belief that strong leaders need to be strong talent and culture creators drives her to support the success of others through mentorship, sponsorship, advocacy, and intentional investments in growth and development.
Jennifer fuels her passion for education and community development through her board service, including the University of Virginia School of Education, PGA TOUR First Tee Foundation, Inc., The Community Foundation for a greater Richmond, and ChamberRVA. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
Jennifer is a University of Wisconsin alumna, holding a B.A. degree in Journalism.
