Janelle Carter Anderson is General Counsel to the Applied Solutions Group of The Heico Companies, LLC, a global holding company with more than 80 operating companies in industrial manufacturing, metals, and construction.
Since 2020, Janelle has been responsible for the strategic legal leadership of the Applied Solutions Group. The Applied Solutions Group consists of 20 industrial manufacturing companies in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC supplying components, engineered products, and industrial services across five segments.
Janelle’s practice focuses on commercial transactions, intellectual property, supply chain, and M&A. She also manages corporate governance, as Assistant Secretary to the holding company.
Active in the legal community, Janelle is a Board Member of the Federal Bar Association, Chicago Chapter and Chair of Georgetown University Law Center’s Chicago Alumni Council.
Janelle began her career as a Law Clerk to Hon. Julian A. Cook, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She then practiced at two law firms prior to several roles with increased responsibility as in-house counsel.
Janelle earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College.
