James Taylor is President of Sportservice for Delaware North.
In this role, Taylor is responsible for providing oversight and strategic direction to the entire Sportservice division in the United States and the sports operations in the United Kingdom, which serves sports fans in more than 50 stadiums, ballparks and arenas. He works with the division’s operational vice presidents and each venue’s general manager to establish and execute annual strategic business plans while pursuing operational efficiencies, new business opportunities and favorable business results.
Taylor joined Delaware North Sportservice as Chief Operating Officer in April 2019 from Sodexo, where he most recently served as CEO of the company’s health care division in the United Kingdom, which included oversight of 187 client sites and 6,000 employees. In addition to directly overseeing the division’s top leadership team, Taylor led the development of a new strategic plan that improved brand positions, maximized long-term earnings and upheld the company’s corporate mission, vision and values.
Taylor has a Bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University. He earned a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
