James T. Mobley, Senior Vice President and General Manager, leads key transformational initiatives within Cisco’s largest business unit, Enterprise Networking & Cloud.
In this role, Mobley leads a team focused on accelerating the transformation of Cisco’s multi-billion dollar product portfolio to an easily consumed portfolio of as-a-service offers.
In previous roles at Cisco, Mobley has led complex transformations including pivoting Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) transactional portfolio to a subscription-based model, accelerating the breadth and growth of the enterprise security services portfolio, and incubating emerging technologies focused on IOT and the future of work.
Mobley brings an entrepreneurial approach to his large corporate roles, leveraging his successful track record of leading and advising multiple early-stage cyber security companies. He joined Cisco in January 2015 following the acquisition of Neohapsis Inc., a mobile and cloud security services company, where he served as President and CEO.
Mobleys’ career journey also includes leadership positions at Symantec, IBM, Digital Equipment (HP), and Compaq (HP).
Mobley is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
