James D. White is a transformational leader with over 30 years as a CEO and operating executive in the consumer products, retail and restaurant industries.
James serves as the Board Chair for The Honest Company (NASDAQ: HNST) and holds board positions at CAVA (NYSE: CAVA), Simply Good (NASDAQ: SMPL), Schnucks Markets, and Bay Club. He co-founded the Directors Academy and serves as an advisor to Black Women on Boards and 50/50 Women on Boards.
Previously, James led Jamba Juice as Chair, President, and CEO, successfully transforming the company into a global lifestyle brand. He has held senior leadership roles at Safeway Stores, Inc., the Gillette Company, Nestlé-Purina PetCare, and the Coca-Cola Company.
James is also a best-selling author, having co-written the book Anti-Racist Leadership: How to Transform Corporate Culture in a Race-Conscious World in 2022 with his daughter Krista White.
