James C. Diggs

James C. Diggs was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of PPG Industries, Inc.

In this role, Diggs was responsible for all legal, environmental, health and safety matters at PPG and its subsidiaries around the world.

From 2004 to September 2009, Diggs also served as Corporate Secretary of PPG Industries, Inc. He retired in 2010.

Diggs joined PPG in 1997. Prior to joining PPG, Diggs was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of TRW Inc.

Previously, he was Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Cleveland.

Diggs earned his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University.
