James B. Stallings Jr. is the Managing Partner of PS27 Ventures, a private investment firm focused on early-stage companies in financial services, medical technology and software.
Stallings is an internationally recognized global business leader and speaker who runs one of the leading early-stage venture capital firms that specializes in transforming companies and teams for sales and profit growth.
Prior to PS27 Ventures, Stallings served as General Manager of Global Markets for IBM, leading 9,000-member sales team spanning 172 countries. Other roles include running IBM’s Linux software business and doubling revenues to $7B in 2 years, leading the flagship mainframe business to record growth, and leading the company’s Intellectual Property Division with an IP portfolio of more than 39,000 patents and over $1B in annual revenue.
Stallings holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Naval Academy.
