Jamal Haughton is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment).
In this role, Haughton serves as the Company’s chief legal officer, working closely with executive leadership to support MSG Entertainment’s long-term direction and growth.
As head of the Company’s Legal department, Haughton oversees all legal functions across a broad range of disciplines including corporate, commercial, transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters. He is also responsible for and directs MSG Entertainment’s corporate and business legal affairs, including managing the development, negotiation, and execution of all material business transactions.
Prior to MSG Entertainment, Haughton served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a global leader in consumer electronics and technology. Haughton served as Samsung’s Chief Legal Officer for the U.S., and as a member of Samsung’s executive management team.
Haughton has been recognized with several industry honors, including Chambers’ “Global Top 100 GC Influencers” (2019).
Haughton received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
