Herbert L. Washington is the Founder and President of H.L.W. Fast Track, Inc., a fast food restaurant enterprise located in Youngstown, Ohio, which owns and operates 23 McDonald’s franchises in Ohio and Pennsylvania since 1980. He was appointed as a director to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for a three-year term in 1993. Washington served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Buffalo Branch Board from 1992 to 1993.
Washington is also on the board of M&T Bank Corp., Manufacturers & Traders Trust Co., Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber, Inc., Youngstown Chamber of Commerce and of the Big Ten Athletic Advisory Committee.
Washington received a graduate degree from Baruch College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Michigan State University.
