Gerald L. Pauling II represents employers in a variety of employment law matters – complex discrimination litigation, class actions, harassment claims, and other claims under federal and state laws. He also provides diversity training and consulting. His track record of resolving or winning employment disputes has earned him a reputation for being the one employers call when stakes are high.
Pauling is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a leading organization for employment law practitioners. He is a past Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago, a premier organization for Chicago’s business community. He was profiled by Chicago United as a “Chicago Business Leader of Color.”
Pauling is active on profit and non-profit boards. He served as a Director of Great Lakes Bank, a commercial institution with $600 million in assets.
Pauling is a Trustee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, a leading cultural institution in Chicago and around the world. He served on the Board of Teen Living Programs, a community organization for homeless youth.
Pauling earned his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles, with honors, and his B.S. from the University of Illinois.
