George K. Martin is the former Managing Partner of the Richmond, Virginia office of McGuireWoods LLP, the law firm’s largest office.
Martin has been involved in firm management in various capacities, including service on the recruiting committee, advisory board and pension committee. He also served as head of the construction transactions team. He has represented public and private entities on numerous real estate projects, including public private partnerships.
Martin is active in the Richmond Virginia and the Metro DC communities. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia School of Law. He also serves on the University of Virginia Investment Management Corporation’s Board.
Martin is a graduate of the Howard University School of Law, where he was the managing editor of the Howard Law Journal, and he received a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia.
