Franklyn D. Reynolds currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of UIL Holdings Corporation.
In this role, Reynolds oversees the electricity and natural gas operating companies of Avangrid Networks in Connecticut and Massachusetts. These include United Illuminating of Connecticut, Southern Connecticut Gas, Connecticut Natural Gas and Berkshire Gas of Massachusetts.
From January 2019 to October 19, 2020, Reynolds served as the president of The Berkshire Gas Company. He also served as Vice President of Gas Integration from October 2017 to October 2020 and Vice President of Asset Management and Planning of Avangrid Service Company from May 2013 to October 2017, where he was responsible for Electric Transmission & Distribution Planning, Vegetation Management, Substation Maintenance, and Investment Planning.
Reynolds earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Central Connecticut State University.
Reynolds is a retired military officer and has completed executive courses at Iberdrola’s School of Management, IMD Business School, Ross School of Business and Wharton School of Business.
