Felicia F. Norwood is Executive Vice President and President of Anthem, Inc.’s Government Business Division. Through its affiliated health plans, Anthem serves 46.8 million members across the U.S.
In this role, Norwood is responsible for Anthem’s Medicaid, Medicare and Federal Government Solutions businesses. She has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare operations, policy, strategy and management in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining Anthem in 2018, Norwood served as Director of Illinois’ Department of Healthcare and Family Services, a $22 billion agency that serves more than 3 million Medicaid beneficiaries. She also held numerous senior leadership positions in her 19-year tenure with Aetna.
Norwood currently serves on the board of directors of Wells Fargo & Company, a leading financial services company.
