Ernest W. Marshall, Jr. is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Eaton, a power management company with 2018 sales of $21.6 billion.
Marshall leads Eaton’s effort to create a culture that attracts and inspires great talent and provides an exceptional place for employees to work and grow. In his role, he is responsible for the company’s global Human Resources function, which includes leadership and organizational development, compensation and benefits, inclusion and diversity, and talent acquisition.
Prior to Eaton, Marshal served as the Vice President, Human Resources Leader for GE Aviation, with global HR responsibility for more than 45,000 employees.
Marshal serves on the boards of the Kindway Organization and the board of trustees of Bellarmine University.
Ernest holds a law degree from Indiana University – Bloomington School of Law, an MBA from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Bellarmine University.
