Eric Butler is the Retired Executive Vice President of Union Pacific Railroad and is currently the founder and CEO of Aswani-Butler Investment Associates LLC, an investment company that has significant equity ownership positions in different companies.
During his almost 32-year career with Union Pacific he led a wide variety of company functions and initiatives including, Marketing and Sales, Purchasing and Supply Chain, Financial Planning and Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Human Resources, and retired as Chief Administrative Officer.
Butler is a member of the Omaha Airport Authority Board. He is also a member of the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School Advisory Board and 100 Black Men of America.
Butler was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Omaha Branch Board in 2015 and was the Branch chair 2018-2019.
Butler graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSIA both from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh
