Earl Ellis is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at ABM Industries, a leading Fortune 500 facility services company with $7B + Revenue and over 100K employees. In this role, Earl is responsible for Global Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, and Procurement. Since joining ABM in 2020, Earl has been instrumental in leading the development of the company’s five-year strategic plan and technological transformation.
Prior to joining ABM, Earl held several executive positions, including Chief Financial Officer of Best Buy Canada and Senior Vice President of Finance in the U.S. for all revenue generating channels of Best Buy, including its 1,000-store network and e-commerce platform. During his tenure at Best Buy, he was responsible for leading enterprise-wide capital project planning, cost transformation and procurement, as well as supporting Digital & Technology and Global Real Estate.
Prior to Best Buy, Earl held executive leadership positions at several other public companies, including Canadian Tire, Campbell Soup Company, Kraft Foods, and Coca-Cola.
Earl was named to the 2021 EMpower Ethnic Minority Executives Role Model List.
Earl served on the Board of Directors for the North Minneapolis Achievement Zone and the Board of Governors for the University of Guelph. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Grace Foods Canada.
Earl holds a Bachelor’s in Management Economics from the University of Guelph and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
