Donnie Brown is Vice President, Refining at Whiting Refinery for BP, one of the world’s largest oil companies.
Donnie began his career in Oil and Gas as an engineering intern and mechanic in 1994 before joining BP fulltime as a Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability Engineer in 1999.
Donnie has held leadership roles in engineering, maintenance, and operations in both the Upstream and Downstream segments of the Oil and Gas industry including roles at the BP Texas City refinery, BP Decatur Petrochemicals, BP Alaska Exploration and Production, and now BP Whiting Refinery.
Donnie holds a undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, an MBA from the University of Houston, and a Master’s in Finance from Georgetown University.
In his free time, he enjoys working out, sports (football, basketball, baseball), and happy hour with family, friends, and colleagues.
