Dominic Blue is Chief Transformation Officer for a major business line at MassMutual. Before his current role, Blue was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in MassMutual’s law department where he leads an initiative to enhance earnings and deliver better solutions to customers.
Prior to joining MassMutual, Blue was with international law firm Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP (now Locke Lord Edwards LLP) and was an associate in the corporate law group of Testa Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in Boston.
Blue has served on the Board of Directors and various committees of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and on the Board of Directors and finance committee of the Greater Springfield YMCA. He has also served as the President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and is a former panel member of the Appeals Board of the Supplier Diversity Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Blue received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross, where he was a four-year starter on the varsity football team and a co-captain. He earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and his Master’s in Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
