Dexter Davis joined Ecolab in May 2022 as Vice President, Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I).
Dexter first worked at Ecolab in procurement from 2014 to 2015. Prior to his return, Dexter spent seven years with Securian Financial, most recently as Vice President, Talent Management and Chief Diversity Officer where he drove step-change impact in talent acquisition, learning and development, management development and led their DE&I efforts.
Dexter has built a remarkable track record of success and results-driven impact that includes developing and achieving aggressive goals around women and people of color in management and senior management roles, leading Securian’s first-ever Diversity Council and developing numerous recruitment and DE&I strategies that increased engagement on college campuses resulting in significant increases in diverse campus hires.
Dexter is a Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional and serves on the board of the Minnesota Private Colleges Council and the advisory boards of Dougherty Family College and Leadership U.
Dexter has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology and an MBA from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.
