Dennis Via is a retired General of the U.S. Army.
Currently, General Via serves as an Executive Vice President with Booz Allen Hamilton. As a senior leader in the Booz Allen Global Defense Group’s Joint Combatant Command business, General Via leads security cooperation with a focus on innovation, transformation and multi-year market growth strategies.
General Via culminated his 36-year military career as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, the Army’s primary logistics and sustainment command, responsible for managing the global supply chain and synchronizing logistics and sustainment activities across the U.S. Army.
General Via serves on the boards of directors of the nonprofit Capital Partners for Education and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Association of the United States Army.
General Via holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia State University and a Master of Education from Boston University.
