Denise Greathouse is a Partner in Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s Labor & Employment Relations practice group, focusing on employment counseling and litigation in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, transportation, food, and education. She co-leads the firm’s Engagement Action Committee on behalf of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, where she aims to turn the Committee’s goals into actions to make an impact both at Michael Best and throughout its communities.
Greathouse’s involvement in DE&I doesn’t stop there. She was selected as a member of the 2019 Class of Fellows, a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. As an advocate for people of color and women, Greathouse regularly surrounds herself with community-minded changemakers and up-and-coming inclusive leaders to create equal opportunities for advancement.
Greathouse prioritizes mentoring associates to share the knowledge she has acquired throughout her career. She regularly volunteers and serves on numerous boards, including Emerging Women Leaders, PEARLS for Teen Girls, local organizations, and her church. She has also served as an Employment Law adjunct professor at her alma matter, Marquette University.
