Dedra N. Castle is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Rite Aid.
In this role, Castle is responsible for enriching the Rite Aid associate experience for 90,000 employees, which subsequently leads to a more satisfying customer experience.
Castle’s primary focus areas at Rite Aid include talent development, recruitment, associate opportunity, inclusion and diversity, associate engagement, labor relations, employment practices and compliance, compensation and benefits, executive leadership development and field and supply chain HR operations.
Prior to joining Rite Aid in 2014, Castle became a founding member and Managing Partner of Castle Partners, LLC, a Human Resources Management services firm; and Level Mediation, LLC, a multistate mediation firm which were both founded in 2012. Before this, she worked for the Sam Club’s Division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., where she most recently led the Corporate Human Resources function and was the Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer.
Castle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from National University in San Diego. She was awarded a Master’s certificate in Advanced Conflict Resolution and Analysis from Nova Southeastern University.
