Deborah Telman is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Organon. Organon is a global healthcare company formed in June 2021 through a spinoff from Merck to focus on improving the health of women throughout their lives.
Telman has responsibility for the company’s worldwide legal affairs, compliance and global environmental health and safety.
Before Organon, Telman was General Counsel at Sorrento Therapeutics, where she was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, licensing, governance, finance, human resources, regulatory compliance and legal functions She was VP and General Counsel – Building Solutions, North America of Johnson Controls International plc. Previously, she held executive roles at Abbott Laboratories and The Boeing Company and was a Partner at Winston and Strawn LLP.
Telman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law.
