David A. Thomas is Dean and William R. Berkley Professor of Business Administration at Georgetown University in the McDonough School of Business.
Previously, Thomas was the H. Naylor Fitzhugh Professor of Business Administration and Chair of the Organizational Behavior Unit at the Harvard Business School. Prior to Harvard, Thomas was an Assistant Professor of Management the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania.
Thomas is a Board Member of the Posse Foundation, Trustee with the Center for Creative Leadership, and a Member of the External Diversity Advisory Board at Deloitte. Previously, Thomas served as a Chair for The Partnership in Boston. Thomas was a past Board Member of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Jobs for the Future and Shady Hill School (Cambridge, MA).
Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Science, a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
