Daron Hines is Vice President of the Consumer and Industrial businesses at Morton Salt.
In his role, Hines oversees sales and marketing with responsibilities for innovation, pricing, eCommerce, sales strategy and planning, brand licensing and overall customer development. He is a member of Morton’s executive leadership team and has commercial teams that span North and South America.
Additionally, Hines is the Global Consumer Segment Head for Morton’s parent company, K+S Group, the world’s leading producer of salt, located in Kassel, Germany.
Before Morton, Hines was Vice President of Sales at The J.M. Smucker Company. While at Smucker’s, he served as the company’s first Vice President of Trade Marketing where he led the pricing and promotion strategy for Smucker’s U.S. Retail business. Before Smucker’s, Hines had a nearly 15 year career with General Mills where he held several positions of increasing responsibility.
Hines is an active member of his community having served on the Board of Directors for the North Community YMCA in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Project GRAD in Akron, Ohio.
Hines holds a B.A. from Emory University and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
