D’Andrae C. Larry is the Group Vice President for International Intermodal at Norfolk Southern Corporation, one of the nation’s premier transportation companies.
He joined the company in 2020. In this role D’Andrae leads the railroad’s strategy for transporting containerized freight throughout its International Intermodal network, the second largest in North America. Norfolk Southern connects customers to markets and communities to economic opportunity, with safe, reliable, and sustainable shipping solutions. The company’s network spans 22 states, and every major container port in the eastern United States.
Larry is a seasoned railroader with more than 25 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Norfolk Southern, he served with BNSF Railroad, one of seven North American Class 1 railroads. During his tenure with BNSF, he held senior sales leadership roles leading high performance sales teams in various business units including bulk and industrial products. Larry started his railroad career in field operations, managing intermodal terminals.
Larry earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a Masters’ degree in Transportation from the University of Denver.
