Corwin N. Harper currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ochsner LSU Health System (OLHS).
In his role, Harper strategically leads interdependently with multiple executive physicians and the executive team of OLHS, the market along the I-20 Corridor of North Louisiana and beyond. This unique partnership between LSU Shreveport and Ochsner will continue to create world class healthcare, while pursuing the academic and research endeavors to live out the mission of healing, leading, educating, serving, discovering, and innovating healthcare for the citizens of the state of Louisiana and beyond.
Before arriving at Ochsner in late 2021, Harper was with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California for over 25 years where he gained positions of increasing responsibility in healthcare within
the Kaiser system including physician practice management, hospital operations, and health plan leadership, with strategic expertise in Joint Ventures and Strategic Partnerships.
Harper earned an undergraduate degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, as well as a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Baylor University. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Commissioned Medical Services Officer in the United States Army Medical Command.
