Coleman H. Peterson was the Executive Vice President of People for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. In this role, Peterson was responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of Wal-Mart’s retail organization. He headed human resources during Wal-Mart’s most aggressive global expansion and helped diversify its workforce.
Currently Peterson is President & Chief Executive Officer of Hollis Enterprises, LLC. Peterson founded the human resources consulting firm in 2004 following his retirement from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Peterson specializes in executive coaching, succession planning and keynote speaking engagements.
Peterson received the highest recognition within the human resource industry when he was inducted as a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources.
Peterson holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from Loyola University.
