Clyde Tinnen is a Partner of Withers Bergman LLP. He focuses his practice on corporate fi nance, securities and mergers and acquisitions. He has represented several public companies in various industries, including JPMorgan, Credit Suisse, Dreamworks, Albemarle, Standard Motor Products, Photronics, Ethan Allen, Comstock Mining, InterGroup, Harsco, GTT Communications, Cinedigm and GrafTech, and served as the corporate secretary of three public companies. He has also represented private equity sponsors, including Nebari Holdings and MHR Fund Management.
Tinnen has structured and negotiated several billion dollars in both domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including public offerings, private placements, joint ventures, secured and unsecured credit facilities, acquisition financings, capital leases, leveraged buyouts and private equity funds.
Tinnen is a Fellows alumnus of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, a member of the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Advisory Committee and a member of the Board of Directors at Capitol West Academy that was featured in a segment of a recent 60 Minutes episode reported by Oprah Winfrey.
Tinnen holds a Bachelor’s degree from William & Mary, an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a JD from Columbia University.
