Chris Lewis is General Counsel for Edward Jones, a financial services company, who 18,000-plus financial advisors serve more than 7 million clients and care for $1 trillion in assets under management.
In this role, Chris is responsible for leading all associates who provide legal support to the firm and for Compliance and Government Relations.
Chris serves on the Edward Jones Executive and Management committees, which provide critical thought and lead and drive initiatives that enable Edward Jones to progress toward its vision of becoming the first choice of serious, long-term individual investors.
Chris joined Edward Jones in 2007 as a Principal and Deputy General Counsel in the Legal division. He was named General Counsel in 2015.
Chris serves as board chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. He is a member of the Board of Directors for St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Missouri Botanical Garden and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.
Chris is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Chris is a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) General Counsel Committee.
