Charlotte Mitcham Farmer is a Managing Director of Integration and Operations at MITRE, a not-for-profit that operates research and development centers for the federal government and works through industry partnerships to solve problems for a safer world.

In this role, Charlotte leads operational strategies and implementation for MITRE’s global workforce and technology programs.

Charlotte’s expertise at linking strategy to action has driven transformational outcomes at Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies including the NASA, VA, Department of Defense and Treasury, U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

West Point Military Academy and other notable institutions have recognized her impact and commitment to initiatives in STEM, leadership, and ethics. Charlotte has received the White House 551st Point of Light award.

Charlotte has led executive boards, including the International Council on Systems Engineering; American Society of Quality and the United Way.

Charlotte is a certified PMP, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Change Management Advanced Practitioner.

Charlotte holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management.
