Cedric J. Sims is Senior Vice President, Enterprise Innovation & Integration for MITRE.
In this role, Sims leads enterprise innovation and integration. In this role, he leverages MITRE’s technology, processes, and people to advance an environment of critical innovation, integration, creativity, and growth. He also oversees enterprise communications and brand.
A change agent who delivers strategic leadership to achieve complex system transformation, Cedric Sims has over 25 years of federal government and public sector impact.
Known for an ability to activate multidisciplinary teams, deliver customer innovation, and foster enterprise integration and collaboration, Sims has a passion for working in the public interest, leading on the cutting edge of technology, and advancing diversity in the workplace and society.
Sims serves on the Maryland Aviation Commission, WashingtonExec National Security Council and the Homeland Security and Defense Business Council as well as the boards of FIRST Chesapeake and the American Heart Association-Greater Washington Region.
Sims holds Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Computer Science and a Doctorate in Engineering from Texas A&M University.
