Carmen Tapio is the Founder and CEO of North End Teleservices-the largest African American- owned business in Nebraska.
Under her leadership, her company has soared onto Inc. 5000’s list of Fastest-Growing companies for four consecutive years, injecting over $400 million dollars into Nebraska’s economy and is named by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as one of the 2024 Top 100 Small Businesses in America.
Her relentless commitment to Creating Jobs and Changing Lives led her to establish Forever North Real Estate, a history-making enterprise that is making the largest private development investment in North Omaha.
Tapio founded Nebraska Black Women United, an organization empowering black women.
Tapio chairs the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Board of Directors; and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Board of Trustees.
