Cain A. Hayes is President & Chief Executive Officer for Point32Health, a $9.7 billion company that includes Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan based in Boston. Serving 2.2 million members across five states, Point32Health is one of New England’s largest health and well-being organizations and one of the top twenty health plans in the United States.
In this role, Cain is responsible for leading the company’s executive team, ensuring a strong culture of quality, innovation and customer service, and defining the strategic vision and direction. He is active and visible in supporting community initiatives to further Point32Health’s purpose.
Previously, Cain served as president & CEO of Gateway Health, a leading managed care organization based in Pittsburgh. Prior to that, he was president & COO of the Health Business for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
Cain serves on the board of directors of The Andy Warhol Museum and DocuSign, Inc.
Cain holds an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Drake University.
Cain also earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
