C.E. Rhodes serves as Group Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Cullen Frost Bankers/Inc. [NYSE:CFR] and Frost Bank headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. He leads the Legal and Real Estate departments.
Rhodes is a business leader and trusted advisor to boards, CEOs, and senior executives. He has an established record of delivering results in highly regulated industries and international markets and demonstrated ability to build stakeholder relationships. In addition, Rhodes has a firm commitment to talent development.
Prior to Frost, Rhodes served as Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer for New Fortress Energy [NASDAQ:NFE] in New York. He also worked at Baker Hughes [NYSE:BKR] where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility, both domestically and abroad. Rhodes previously worked at two Am Law 100 international law firms in Houston.
Rhodes holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia where he was a Jefferson Scholar and played football.
In addition, he has served on the boards of the Jefferson Scholars Foundation, the Texas Bar Foundation, and the State Bar of Texas.
