Byron Green is Vice President of Operations for L3Harris Technologies, a global aerospace and defense technology company with approximately $17 billion in annual revenue, 50,000 employees and customers in 130 countries.

Green leads L3Harris’ global manufacturing, quality, environmental health and safety, supply chain management and the company’s lean operating system.

Previously he served as Vice President of Manufacturing for Whirlpool Corporation’s North American region. In this role, Green was accountable for production, manufacturing engineering and advanced program planning for fourteen manufacturing facilities and 28,000 employees.

Prior to joining Whirlpool, he spent almost 20 years at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, ultimately leading North American vehicle assembly, producing 2.3 million vehicles annually. In this role, he was responsible for advanced program planning & investments, process design activities and program management.

Green began his career as a manufacturing co-op student at General Motors.

Green received his Master’s degree in Engineering Management/Control Systems from University of Detroit Mercy, and his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the former General Motor Institute, now Kettering University.
