Bruce Jackson is the Associate General Counsel & Managing Director for Strategic Partnership out of Office of the President at Microsoft. His key responsibilities include corporate and public-private partnerships. He is helping the company bring to life its mission with technology, skills, and a focus on employability to drive sustainable social impact and economic opportunity for all. He also supports Microsoft’s government affairs and corporate citizenship initiatives with a commitment to serve communities in the New York metropolitan area. Additionally, he has been a proponent for diversity & inclusion throughout his career and a thought leader for the adaptation of STEM initiatives.
Jackson joined Microsoft in 2000 as lead attorney covering the digital media group.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Jackson was a founding partner in the entertainment law firm of Jackson, Brown, Powell, and St. George.
Jackson sits on the boards of the National Association of Women & Minority Owned Law Firms. He is a member of New York City Mayor-Elect Eric Adams Corporate Council. He also served on the New York State’s Advisory Council on Interactive Media and Youth Violence.
Jackson holds a B.A in Accounting from Hofstra University and a J.D. and LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
